Ms. Orona, First Grade A
My name is Jacqueline Orona and I am a K-1 teacher at New Academy of Science and
Arts. I have taught at the Elementary level for a total of three years. My first year
teaching experience was with a first grade classroom at a school in Riverside. The
other two years I taught a K-1st class at NASA. I am proudly returning to NASA to
hopefully complete many more years of teaching experience in the future. I currently
hold a bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Spanish from Cal State
Long Beach. I am also in the process of completing a master’s degree in Reading
Specialization at National University. I have been happily married for six years and I am
a proud parent of a four year old girl. As a parent I wish for my daughter to have the
best educational experience from kind, caring, and talented teachers that will help her
learn the skills she needs to be successful in the future. As a teacher, I am strongly
dedicated to provide the best educational experience for all students at NASA and to
give parents the comfort that their children are in good hands and that they will be
taken care as if they were my own. I am proud to be part of the NASA team and
community and I am confident that we will accomplish many good things with all NASA
students.
Mi nombre es Jacqueline Orona. Soy maestra de grados kínder y primero en la
escuela New Academy of Science and Arts. Tengo tres años de experiencia
trabajando como maestra a nivel de escuela primaria. Mi primer ano trabaje en una
escuela en Riverside con un salón de estudiantes de primer grado. Los otros dos
anos los trabaje en NASA con estudiantes de kínder y primero. Yo obtuve mi título de
la universidad Cal State Long Beach y me recibí con un Bachelors Degree en Liberal
Studies y una minoría en español. También estoy en el proceso de terminar una
maestría para especializar en lectura con la universidad National University. Yo tengo
seis anos felizmente casada y soy madre de una niña de cuatro anos. Como madre
yo deseo que cuando mi hija tenga que ir a la escuela, espero que tenga una
agradable experiencia educativa con maestros/as que son amables, inteligentes, y
bien preparados para que mi hija pueda aprender lo necesario para triunfar
académicamente. Como maestro, prometo a dedicarme a proveer la mejor experiencia
educativa para todos los estudiantes de NASA y de darles la seguridad a los padres
de que sus hijos están en buenas manos. Estoy muy orgullosa de ser parte de NASA
y su comunidad porque estoy segura que lograremos muchas cosas maravillosas con
los estudiantes de NASA.
