Ms. Cabrera, Fifth Grade
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Cabrera. I am the new 5th grade teacher at NASA. This is
my second year as a teacher. Last year in 2007, I taught Language Arts and History at
a school located in Inglewood, CA. Although I recently became a full time teacher, I
have worked as a teacher’s assistant and a substitute teacher for many years. I am
currently working on my Master’s degree at California State University, Dominguez
Hills. I am very excited to be working at NASA as a full time teacher. I first came in
contact with this school when I was a substitute teacher about two years ago while I
was working on my credential.
I am a very outgoing person who loves to spend much time at the beach. I also enjoy
shopping and going to the theater with friends and family. Above all, I love spending
time with my students. Teaching is not just a job for me, it is my passion. This is why I
feel that working at NASA will allow me to express this passion more freely.
