Ms. Salazar, Second Grade A
My name is Sonia Salazar and I am very blessed to be part of the NEW NASA family. I
am a graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's
Degree in Sociology, Chicano/a Studies and a minor in Applied Psychology. I have
worked with children and adolescents since I was a junior at Belmont High school. I
have volunteered at daycares and served as a mentor and advisor for higher
education. My passion has always been to be of service to others in any way possible.
Over the years, as I look back at my own educational experience in the school system,
I understand that dedicated teachers, teachers assistants, administration and school
staff make a difference in children's education. Therefore I am glad to start a new year
with the staff and children of NASA.
